Hey babe, we’d like to take a minute to talk about stretch marks – the common skin challenge that comes from living life, creating life and our changing bod. For some of us, it can make us feel uncomfortable. We feel you. First things first, we want to say that we’re proud of you for who you are. From losing weight or getting stronger, to creating life or just living life – you’re amazing – so keep being you.
But we won’t end the article here though, because we’ve got a bit of insight that we’d like to share. See stretch marks are a very common thing. The little visible lines on the skin that we might see on our thighs, breasts, stomach, upper arm, or other parts of the body – they happen to everyone (Women and Men alike).
They’re often the result of sudden changes in the size of the body – your first baby, losing weight or other changes that happen suddenly. When change happens this fast, the skin’s elasticity can’t quite keep up – so sometimes, stretch marks happen as a result. The good news? There are many treatments that can reduce stretch marks. A few of the most effective? Coffee scrub (we don’t have this yet), cocoa lotion, and aloe vera gel – with one of the most effective being Aloe Vera Gel.

This plant is chalk full of healing properties that aid in treating various health conditions. According to research, there are around 75 nutrients, 20 minerals, 12 vitamins, 200 enzymes, and 18 amino acids found in aloe vera – which is a wildly large number of good-for-you stuff.

When to use Aloe Vera Gel for Stretch Marks
Yes babe, your skin is an organ. It’s a living, breathing part of your bod that needs to be taken care of - just as the organs on the inside. It needs fuel (food, vitamins, minerals, water and more) to heal and regenerate. And, if it’s trying to repair – think stretch marks or other skin challenges – you’ll need to take care of it even more.
If you use aloe vera gel early, it can help heal your skin faster – think about eating good food on a regular basis compared to starving in the desert. Of course you’ll be far more healthy if you’re eating great food.
But what happens if you’ve already noticed stretch marks? Well, you can still treat them by applying aloe vera gel 2-3x per day. Here's how:
How to use Aloe Vera Gel for Stretch Marks
Aloe vera gel can help with many things – but, since it’s a viscous, transparent gel like substance it should be applied just as you would a cream. Apply it by massaging it gently on the affected area for a couple of minutes. Let all that good-for-you aloe nutrients soak into your skin. If you do this daily, up to 2-3x per day you’ll find that your skin will start repairing – helping to prevent future stretch marks from developing, as well as get rid of existing ones. And if you’re a life-creating babe, know that it is safe for pregnant mothers.
The sooner you spot a stretch mark and start treating it with aloe vera gel, the sooner you’ll heal your bod. Use it on a daily basis and your skin will thank you.
